Bay window prices...

I'm going to be having my wooden sash windows converted from single glazed to double glazed by a specialist. For the bays he quoted about £1700 each and about 3 weeks per bay. That's not including any problems he may find along the way.

It'll be expensive, but worth it in my opinion, he comes recommended by a work colleague who says this guy is a stickler for detail.

Is that for each part of the bay, so 3 x £1,700 per bay?

I live in a A-Listed building in a conservation area and have just had a quote of c. £6k for a (large) bay to replace with double glazed wooden sash and case items.
