I was just in the supermarket and just impulse bought this for a tenner

what is the general opinion of it?
I wont be playing it for a while due to other games

It's an amazing game. Do you not read reviews?
Game of last year for me by a massive margin.

Enjoy it, it's one hell of a ride with some great touches-missile riding is awesome!!!!

I played the demo and it was very fun, like DMC4, but aload more fun, heck the woman as guns for high heels

One of the best games of this gen and arguably the best game of its type. Ever.

Just so much fun. Was impulse buy for me too and I don't usually like those kinda games.

Finished it all within two days. Was hooked

And it has funny parts too. The boss fights are cool and the combat is great.

Only thing I didn't like is the rocket level. Got seriously sick focusing on that for an hour.. (from all the spinning around)

Just plated about 2 hours and im with this at the moment.

i have no idea who the characters are/ what they are doing and why. Whole game is just WTF. Terrible camera and crap menus.

Luckly the combat is freaking awsome and makes up for the rest

I thought the same, I still to this day have no idea what I am actually doing in the game. I just combo kill as much as I can, collect a couple of broken vinyls, kill a big boss. The plot is well and truly lost on me.

Easily one of the best games of last year for me. It kept me and my friends entertained for months; our first run through we did in 14 hours non stop. The house wasn't just full of geeky nerd like people either, the rest of girls in my house sat round and watched as if it was a film!

Give it a try and if you really like it, go for Platinum / 1000/1000. I did and it was well worth it (think a few people here will tell you how crazy that is on this game!)

I couldn't get into it. Much like the DMC games I was aware that it was possible to become immensely skilled at the various combos, but nine times out of ten just found myself mashing the pad hopelessly. It also suffers from having far too much going on on-screen at any one time for my poor brain. Playing the game was somewhere akin to being lobotomized at times.

Also the plot is bananas and its oversexualized to the point of insanity.

I really liked it, although I didn't like the rather lazy re-use of certain levels later on. Apart from that I found it very stylish, colourful, great to look at, with an excellent soundtrack, and above all else fun - which is the most important thing I look for when playing a game.

Awesome game

Story is a bit ... confusing until right at the end though.
Boss fights were just epic
