BB Bold Battery

My BB Bold has suddenly started eating batteries. I charged it last night and took it off about 7 but by 11 it had used 60% with it barely being used. I had to keep topping it up all day. When i left work at 5 i swapped batteries to one that was fully charged and its now empty, i did listen to music for about an hour which would normally only use maybe 10% but other than that I've not used it. The bluetooth and wifi are turned off so it's using minimal power. I can't understand what's causing it.

i have 2 batteries as i swapped between the 2, the phone gets warm normally if video or audio is used. The strange thing is the battery has been working fine up till this morning and now its draining quickly again.

yesterday i had a few problems with the phone becoming unresponsive which required 3 reboots to get working again. i've dropped it a few times this week and there's what i presume to be cracks (they look like whites lines) at the back of the screen.

the only apps i run is msn and skype

I'm usually pretty careful with my phone and always use the leather case. Ever since I was told our new phones were on their way as we're moving over from vodaphone to o2 I've been a bit of a cluts
