BB speed tester

Just moved to my new pad and ment to have 10MB broadband but it don;t seam it at all.

Where can i get a tester?? It's tellywest by the way

We got plusnet in our flat and its awful. Suppose to be 2mb but miles off. Plusnet website report our connection at 31.33mbps. Tried othere speed testers and they come out at 1.4mbps which is far more realistic. Plusnet even admitted that their speed checker might not be that accurate

Their speed checker is dead on accurate for me. Always reports a very accurate reading. Still, why not use BT's Speedchecker?

This Site is always a great Speedtest for me, and is the one I use.

BT speed test won't much good as you can't logon to their network with cable. I know NTL have a speed test website http://homepage.ntlworld.com/testmyspeed/ , do telewest have a similar one? internet frog is another one you can use.

Stupid me - thought it was ADSL for a sec

- I'd go for the ADSLguide test then - that's usually pretty good.
