Talks between the BBC and AA have ironically 'broken down' over a 1 hour documentary that showcased the '4th Emergency Service'.
Filming had been scheduled to start in late 2011 however recent events have seen the parties leave the idea hanging and go their seperate ways.
The AA will be releasing a strong television advertising campaign over the winter months with a focus on 'putting in the wrong fuel' being fixable at the roadside by AA recovery specialists.
Andrew Strong from the AA commented on the collapse "Both the production company and the BBC felt we have an excellent story to tell and that it would have been compulsive viewing.
It is also paramount however, that we protect and safeguard our brand. Unfortunately we have not been able to reach agreement with the other parties on what those safeguards would include and with much regret, have made the decision to withdraw from the programme"

Interesting, would have been something to pass an hour by on a cold night.
