BBC Gameshow - The Traitors

I`m late to the Traitors started watching it with the Celeb version (TV Gold) and this serious is fantastic.

What puzzles me....
I`m glad Fiona went she shot herself in the foot. Silly woman.
What puzzled me is Faraaz was there when Amanda told him to leave the room when she shared the secret job with Rachel. So why did Faraaz not speak up when Fiona said Rachel was lying Amanda told her nothing. At the very least he should have said to Fiona "well Amanda and Rachel shared something because they told me to leave the room" and also at the same time why did not Rachel say "well Faraaz was there and Amanda told him to leave the room if I was lying about she told me her job what do you think we were talking about?" but he stayed silent. Now this could be the edit and it did happen but we just didnt see it.
Thought a similar thing when the traitors had to put the blood marks on the family tree. Pretty sure it was Rachel, Reece and Stephen standing at it and Rachel asked Reece to leave to speak to Stephen privately. Thought it was weird that Reece never raised this when it had come out about the family tree.

Finally caught up from last week, I’m not sure if stuff from previous episodes needs to be spoilers now though?

Only just started it, watching S1 and the latest in tandem. Really like it to the point where I've applied to play in it later this year so let's see if I am selected!

S1 is still one of the best, and yeh having met you I think you'd be a great contestant!

Well that round table was utterly painful to watch...
Definitely got to that point where everyone left is such a brain-dead moron that it becomes mind-numbing to watch them tie themselves up on knots.

It felt like Harriet almost wanted to go tonight… really poor play from her considering she was right on the money with Rachel. There’s better ways to do it than that…

Sounds like Stephen is smashing it and has no one who suspects him at the moment… very curious who they have decided to murder!…

She was trying to play the "If I go, that'll prove it's Rachel" card, but unfortunately for her, the 'evidence' she produced wasn't evidence at all, it was just her gut feeling, and as is so often the case when someone does that, rather than put heat on the person they named, it has the opposite effect.

Anything that makes you stand out will get you attention and banishment/murder in the early stages - you can be as right as possible (like last night) but if you’re voted out then it’s all pointless and you get no money.

Then you have Jade - barely says anything, doesn’t get involved and is still here with no real suspicion about her to the extent she’s in any real danger. It won’t get her right the end, but doing well so far!

I think Harriet thought she would be murdered anyway - so may as well try to go and get a traitor. Didn't have evidence, but she's been correct before and perhaps thought she could convice the others to have faith in her.

Maybe winning wasn't her goal - just wants to sell more books!

I think you are right here. She was desperate to let people know about her books and job.

No she wasn't, she kept it quiet all the way through and only mentioned it for the first time in the morning. If she'd been desperate to let people know about it, she'd have been saying from the start.

Harriet's explanation on Traitors uncloaked made her actions clearer.

Essentially, she could have stayed close to Rachel but as the game went in she would have to start voting for people she knew were faithfuls and didn't want to be in that position.

There's probably also external factors at play - new book launching in February and she had an episode focused on her. Plus she's already wealthy and didn't need the prize money.

Yeah didnt she say something like "I've come here and done what I needed to so happy to be voted out"

Harriet Tyce's new book is *Witch Trial, a legal thriller about two teenage girls accused of murder, set for release on February 26, 2026

Probably get more money from the book now with the extra Traitors promotion plus fans of the show will be buying her books now too. Quite astute marketing.
