As long as this only applies to iPlayer then fine, if it's worded to cover all streaming/catch-up services then that would be retarded.
It'd also be nice, if/when this is implemented, for BBC to do either a cut-price catch-up only subscription or even a 'pay per episode' type setup.
I don't have a TV licence, haven't done so for over a year now and quite happy, even get an amusing letter every 2 weeks which never fails to give me a mid-morning chuckle. I do, very occasionally, watch stuff on iPlayer, which is a bit 'wrong' but was limited to F1, Top Gear, Sherlock and Luther. F1 is gone to another channel now, Top Gear will almost certainly suck with Chris Evans, leaving just Sherlock and Luther, and 3 episodes every other year is not worth the licence fee, not even close.
