Has anyone been to see them? I'm going to Bridgewater Hall soon and just wanted to double check the dress code. I've always thought it was a black suit affair but I'm not one hundred percent certain!

Are you going to the Family Concert on 31st March? If so, there will definitely not be a dress code.

Most regular shows don't have them these days. Maybe last night, or new years days show, but not regular concerts.

Enjoy the show btw. About time I go out and see a concert!

Yes, many times.

Depends on the venue rather than the performers, but for Bridgewater Hall dress smart casual. Hardly anyone dresses up for orchestras these days in this country, most of the rest of Europe dress smart.

No venues have a dress code anyway so just wear what's comfortable, you'd only be expected to dress formally at various galas or if the Queen etc attends and in that situation it would say on your tickets.

I was lucky enough to do a stint at BBC Llandaff, and they have a massive hall where they can record a full orchestra. I managed to set up and listen to a full day of one particular orchestra (honestly have no idea who they were), and it will stay with me forever :)

Jeans and tshirt will be fine. A suit is more than ok and wearing dj will be odd if you're not playing.

What he said. Audiences in this country don't tend to dress up for concerts. If you turn up in jeans and t-shirt no one will bat an eyelid.
