My workmate mentioned the above in a tongue-in-cheek way. He said that each year a different song gets rammed down our throats and when he said that it struck a nerve because it's true. I can remember some of them, but not all.

The ones that stick in my head are:

Groovejet

Music Sounds Better with you

Lola's Theme (?)

(I remember one that was used on an advert with a guy doing some stupid dancing in a bar/cafe, but can't think what it actually was.)

I hate music sounds worse with you. I also hated that groovejet track. The band name sounds like someone who sells dog food.
 
Just remembered that Sonique (?) track of a few years back that was everywhere for about a year

no record companys paying off radio station like they must do these days to get so much crap good airplay :p

That was a long time ago it must have been around 2000 as i remember getting it on white lable from manchester. And then absolutly canning it accordingly :p

i was pretty young in the 90s but my bro was well into his music so i ended up with good taste from wrecking his decks when he went out :p
