BBC set to drop Neighbours

:( I have watched Neighbours from day one ,its the end of an era as I look forward to coming in from work and getting my daily fix ..Luckely I can get a good 5 picture now but it wont seem quite the same with adverts etc !

hmmmm yes well, used to watch it when Kylie was dating Jason, lost interest after that.
She's fit though. :D
 
Its progressively got worse and worse. That BBC news article says it only draws 700k in Aussieland. Cunning convicts, they know only the British would pay out their nose for such trash.

p.s; I used to love neighbours but over the last 2 years its been getting pretty poo.
 
Hmm, this is interesting.

I wonder if they will start showing "The Flintstones" again, like they did at 5:30 before they started showing Neighbours. Somehow I doubt it :D

I remember as a kid watching it (just barely remember).

They'll probably start showing some BBC crappy thing.

Aye, must wonder how they intend to conjure up 5 million viewers at 5.30 every day..

Given that we're talking about an audience that watched utter toss like Neighbours in their droves, I'm pretty certain the BBC could stick anything they want on in that timeslot and still get people watching it.
