BBC VOD Trial?

What happened to the VOD trialing BBC was doing? I havent heard anything for a while.. When are they supposed to go live?

The trial is now over mate. From my participation in the trial, an email said the actual service to the public is tba.

OK, cool, hopefully this means they are fairly happy with the service and ready to go live soon.

Just out of curiosity, were the programs that were downloaded full screen versions? I've been watching the apprentice on the BBC website and though it is nice to watch them online it would be nice to see them full screen and be able to sit back away from the computer screen whilst watching them.

Any info would be most welcome

The quality was just under DVD quality when viewed on a normal CRT TV with MCE. On 17" TFT it got a tiny bit pixelated etc. but that's to be expected. Certainly better than current streamed stuff like the apprentice.

The iMP App itself could do with a lot of improvements though.
