bbm for android

Bit like everything RIM has done since about 2007 this has come about 3 years to late! There isn't enough of a blackberry user base left to encourage people to move from whatsapp.

See BlackBerry are laying off 4,500 staff and predicting big losses, basically as the company they currently are blackberry is dead it just doesn't realise it yet. Their IP and brand will eventually get bought up by someone but I can't see them carrying on as they are now.
 
My friend told me about this, could care less tbh. They just like MSFT missed the messaging game competely. When the first iPhone came out it was clear that on a phone most of my friends used bbm and on a PC they used MSN. None of them really saw the opportunity to go big with mobile or other platforms.

Yeh lets blame Blackberry why dont we eh??. Seems like theres a lot of fake BBM apps on the play store and it wouldnt surprise me if Blackberry said to Google, take these off asap and we will give you BBM. As of yet it hasnt happened so maybe thats the reason for the delay.

My statement was because of the fact RIM on the conscience usually delay everything.

But yes I will have a look at it I know a few people who use bbm.

Yes they do but thats usually with Blackberry people ie the people who use Blackberries lol. Fustrating isnt the world id use to describe their inept ability to launch things on time.

Already posted in the other thread, but just more streamlining by the looks of it. There is no need for Blackberry to have over 10k people working for them when they are losing money and shares are falling.

I feel sorry for the people who have lost their jobs due to these cuts but sadly it has to be done in order for the company to save itself somehow.

Whatsapp is the only one you need really, just installed BBM and now I'm about to uninstall it.
 
I will probably keep it.. I quite like it to be honest.. The difference being you don't need to have peoples mobile numbers like on whatsapp... I like the R and D as well for read/delivered.. That way you know people have read your message etc lol
