Ive got one its usually 4 or 5 and theres normally 5 or 6 other people in a server that have them numbered between 1-5/6. I thought they were something to do with squads but they also appear on the leaderboards.

That sites a pain in the arse, it asks me for my bf2 login and tels me its not recognised, yet i can log into the game fine using the same details. :mad:

Did the same with my BF2 expansion pack details, BF2 added fine, but no joy for the addons.

Pity my 1942 & Vietnam keys have been in a landfil somewhere for years now really.

Server update tomorrow

Tomorrow morning, 3rd Feb at 2am PST, 10am GMT and 11am CET EA will restart its servers for maintenance, this will affect Battlefield Bad Company 2 Beta. During the time the EA servers are down you will be unable to log in, view up to date stats, view the server browser or play in games of Bad Company 2 Beta.
This down time is expected to last between 10 and 15 minutes.

They're updating it so servers can chose to run hardcore mode or not, and it also stops them resetting from hardcore mode if the server goes down.
Well that's what I heard anyway.

Addons don't matter. From what I have read about the veteran status the only thing that matters is the 'base' game, such as bf2142, bf2, bf1942 etc.. the addons don't actully increase your veteran rank, so if you can't add them, its no great loss.
