i've found medic pretty awesome, the lmg's are great guns and healing others for points and yourself is really useful
level 11 and if a tracer is on the target a flashing red square will appear, aim at the square till it stops blinking. Fire RPG into the sky, bam.
Heh, yea the XM8C is a monster

i'm a lowly level 5 nubI think medic is going to have mouth sex with everyone on hardcore... 1-2 shot kills will render the damage component of a weapon irrelevant leaving the high rate of fire / reasonably accurate / largely clipped weapons being gravitated towards -- the amount of times I've gone on a spraying rampage with the Medic is silly really, if it was hardcore the effectiveness of it would be sickening.
My god the LMGs are the worst guns ever, they don't seem to register for me. Spray, short bursts.. Nothing works, given up.
Sniper is the most boring class tbh, well its good with an SMG and those beacons but meh.
Yeah medic been my most played as engineer is very situational I feel, no advantage for it unless you are going to be going against or supporting armor though its still my second choice as it is awesome in those situations, but medic is still my favorite never a situation when you don't want one.
Ive found the Thompson to be very good for the medic as although its stats dont suggest it, it is very accurate firing single or double shots from distance and upclose it shreds most people apart, only bad thing is its limited clip (30), though thats still better than the 20odd for most engy guns.
Pff, i thought it was something like that but it didn't seem to be doing anything when i kept it in line for a few seconds, was expecting a beep or something for 'locking on' ><
And giving a level req for the Tracer is beyond retarded. Effectively what its saying is until level 11 you haven't got a chance in hell of destroying the Apache.
Just logged on there for a game and my rank is there all my unlocks in the main menu but as soon as im in server i have nothing but the default weopons and load-outs just unlocked the sm8c aswell

the finel release if you have ltd ed im sure you get the tracer dart as a bonus form the get go along with a couple other bits.

thats happens to me on some servers just dc and try another.

Good job that we get the tracer dart early with the LE version of the game 
I've taken down Apaches with the recoilless rifle a few times!

Only can see one hardcore server so far and that had a ping? of 347
Finding the marking the enemies with Q quite fun, seems easy enough; RMB, aim at them, hit Q, can get a bit carried away with it though. Surely snipers on the hill could at least do that.
Also got killed for the first time with the defrib tonight, pretty humiliating.
