Be FTTC pre registration

A few weeks after I leave Be and join BT Infinity, they start accelerating their FTTC solutions!

Well be very intersting what price this comes in at.

I'm also with Be, & was very tempted to jump ship, but from what I've read on the Be forum, I decided to wait until July 4th Q&A with Chris Stening, BE's Managing Director.

Glad I did, as I won't be tied in with a 18 month contract with BT now.

Interesting, I would probably switch from 50mb if the speeds were upped to something more competitive like 100mb or 200mb.

FML, left Be* for BT Infinity and still got 15 months on the contract. Mind you, VPN during peak times and its not too bad, just the pings could be better.

No chance unless you live very close to the FTTC cab. BT will up the FTTC speed to 80Mb/s towards the end of the year.

Well i've registered interest in it, not interested in going for a capped/restricted service. Happy with current speeds, but faster is better

Just have to wait until my exchange is enabled which is down as 1/3/12

I have heard that FTTH is supposed to be coming after FTTC is done though.

Well I registered my interest but since there is like ZERO interest from BT to do Dumfries im not really holding my breath to get any FTTC soon....
