6700xt will run msfs2020 fine.. am assuming that's what your running as 2024 is only just release. Quick scan and it seems to be a fairly common problem with 6700xt's...on boot up it crashes and black screens..try below as that solved for one person
seems to be a few things that solved issues, but below seem to be a couple that crop up and seem to work
Solved at last!! I had to remove the AppData folder "Microsoft Flight Simulator" from my C:\Users\myname\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator and now it launched without crashing.
The only solution to fix my game from crashing is installing English voice in the speech settings, no other solution with game integrity or reinstalling won't help. The game relies on speech synthesis, so I think the game won't work if the basic language is not installed. That's crazy how many people have startup crashes by this, and Microsoft didn't fix this or ether provide a tutorial for this
Select the Start button, then select Settings > Time & Language
Go to Speech > Manage Voice
Click on + Add voices
In the search bar type "English"
Install the English (United States) Language Pack
below was someone that installed win 11 and started crashing every time openned
I solved this problem. In my case I had to start the game in another pc(I used my friend pc) with the same Xbox account( you don’t need to install the full game but only the few GBs that allows you to open the game. once done I tried with my pc and it has always worked perfectly

in the end you just may have to go through a whole load of options
try these methods to fix the problem
1. Verify the integrity of game files
Go to your Steam library. Right-click Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and select Properties.
Navigate to the LOCAL FILES tab and click VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE…. Then wait for the progress bar to finish
Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and test your flight
2. Update your graphics driver
Go to your manufacturer's site and download the Letes GPU driver and install it
3. Unplug Peripherals
It can enhance the gaming experience when the gaming hardware is compatible with the game.
Some players have reported that plugging two or more peripherals causes the game to crash even on startup.
So if you're using gears like controllers, joysticks, and forks, try unplugging them. If the crash disappears, you can fix the problem by disabling the peripherals one by one.
However, if you're only using a mouse and keyboard and are still experiencing crashing issues, skip to the next fix below.
4. Change your power plan
Press the Windows logo key and R at the same time on your keyboard to bring up the Run box. Type or paste the Microsoft.PowerOptions control/name and click OK
In the window that opens, select High Performance and click Change plan settings.
Click the Turn off screen drop-down list and select Never. Then click Save changes
5. Perform a clean boot in Windows

6. Delete Rolling Cache
Go to this path and delete the cache folder, replace "xxxxx" with your PC name
C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Local\FlightSimulator
Start Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and see if the issue is resolved
Now check if the game crashes on startup
