Hi,
i am thinking of switching from BT to either Be or o2 but don"t know what package to go for,
according to Be's site my current speed is 5.0meg and the max i can get is 14meg but from my router stats i thought that it would be faster or is that about right.

Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 448 / 7,616

Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 11.5 / 19.5

Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 17.0 / 29.0

SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 23.0 / 9.5

Thanks,

those are very good stats and I would expect at least 14mbit. I would expect more really...I have terrible stats but can get 16.5mbit with some tweaking on my DG834GT

I have similar stats on be*

Modulation: G.992.5 Annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 1,313 / 14,586
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 18.0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 16.0 / 32.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 6.5 / 4.0

My SN margin used to be similar to yours but using DMT ive managed to reduce it without instability and gained ~1.5mbps.

Remember your attenuation will be slightly worse on ADSL2+.
