Beanbags!

Evening all (or morning rather....), I've just got me a new student house this week, and it needs a bit more seating in the living room, so I thinks to myself 'how about a bean bag?!?'. It'd be brilliant for lazing on while playing on the xbox :D Anyone on here bought a beanbag recently? a lot of the sites on the net seem quite thin on choice, however I came across this one, Blob Beanbags, which seem to have a good range (bit pricey for the big ones, a double size padded one costs £150!!). Anyone ever bought from here or bought beanbags from anywhere else?

No, you guessed wrong. Their beanbags have done well for me. Kind of a fake suede affair with beans, not as tacky as it sounds. I was looking round for some and was pleasantly surprised to find them in B&Q
 
i bought one recently from a nice shop but it burst... pain in the arse to hoover all the bits up.

took it back now waiting on a reinforced one for my fat arse hehe
 
I have bought two in the last few years.

The first was a small cotton like material on the outer, and rather small really, it does to sit on, but not really a lounging one.

The other was an £80 leather beanbag from debenhams and it absolutely massive, its about 1.5 meters in diameter, and about 2 feet high. possibly the best thing ever tbh. Only drawback is it can get quite hot in summer, what with leathers' lack of ventilation.
 
what about your poor elderly relatives?

They'd never get off those things hehe you'd have to feed them in them..

I'll second the B&Q £15 beanbags. Decent quality, nice material and very comfortable for three-hour PS2 sessions - I got two, and they double as cushions on a rather large flat sofa-bed I got from Ikea.

It says it seats 5 peeps tho :eek: It says they're delivered vacuum packed so that it'll actually fit through the door....what happens when u want to move house? It probably won't fit through the door!
