apart from the dire GT320 gpu, which is just naff.

and the 6GB memory? which is weird for a dual channel memory controller that the i5/i3 has, which suggests the system builder of that pc doesn't have a clue.

Not withholding the fact they are running the ram at 800mhz? eh? on an i5 system?

I wonder can that possible be right, if it is the mobo must be apaulingly poor, and dirt cheap.

I'd go with the build you make, downgrade ram to 4Gb instead

4GB ram is enough for anything except ultra-high-def image and video editing. Not to mention, all the components which are not branded are probably naff, esp. PSU. Also, the case they use will cost about a fiver...
