No infact i do blame mclaren some. How can you drop the captain and not even have him on the bench etc. You certainly couldnt single becks out in the world cup and say that he woefully underperformed ala Lampard style.

infact he is still our most dangerous set piece taker, and best crosser of the ball as well as one of our most experiences assets. i was seriously shocked when he was dropped. i simply couldnt understand it. we didnt bring in anyone better to cover his position thats for sure.

if he can keep fit and keep his standard up i hope he plays past his 100 caps.

Do me a favour do you really think Ronaldo carries as much baggage as Beckham did?

Is Ronaldos Mrs in the bar after the match slagging off another players GF?

Is Ronaldos Mrs dragging him onto the front page of every newspaper at every opportunity?

So you've never heard the stories of ronaldo *** party animal i take it? OOC - do you read brazilian/Spanish/Italian papers daily - if not id suggest that you do not know the full story of ronaldo. we only get such sensationalistic coverage because he's a brit. the Brazilians dont care, and we dont care about brazilians.

Does that really detract from Beckhams football? Does our team play well enough to win consistenty without him? Should we have dropped him.

Nope im afraid, we are not and certainly were not in a position to drop him for football reasons im afraid.
 
Your right it wasent football reasons IIRC it was mostly about his Mrs how she used to swan about like she owned the place and the constant press intrusion, then there were the rumours of her wanting to move abroad
 
Beckham out for a month at least...

He has said something like maybe its time for him to rest til he is fully fit...

could be out for a while then, this week will of put him in place of how hard its going to be playing for England and LA...

Don't think he will play for england again tbh

Beckham is a legend btw, one of the great players from the last generation.
