Becoming Nocturnal

yes, People who work night shifts die a lot younger on average. Also i can say from doing night shift for 2 years (yay no longer do it, well not day in day out). That it leaves you tiered, weakens your immune system and other such things.

Is this with the recommended 7hrs sleep, i mean im getting 11 hours so im not getting sleep deprivation hehe, is there any hard evidence?

Some of us have no choice, I have a Uni deadline in ~7 hours (my placement write-up throughout the past year). :(:p

Yep, even with extra sleep it still messes you up. Loads of studys have been done. Don't know any names of the top of my head though. Also doesn't do any lasting damage in the short term.

I'm doing pretty much the same, but i have no job and am off school so it doesn't really matter :)
Probably isn't very good for you if you don't get sunlight because it will make you depressed, so make sure you go out and do stuff.

I've been about 5 hours ahead of standard time for ages now, it really is just no good at all.

Keeps this place nice and tidy though while the other mods are sleeping :p

I try to not allow myself any more than 9 hours sleep so my sleeping plan doesn't completely **** up. Atm going to bed around 4-5 and getting up around 12-1.

Going to bed 2-3am and getting up at 9-11, got up at 12:30 today though, felt weird. :/

Got to change back to 11pm bed and 6am start when collage starts again....:(
