hi all,

I never thought i'd be posting asking for suggestions on bed linen but needs must!

I've finally finished decorating the front bedroom, carpet in today so wife asked me to put the bed back in and make it with the new bed linen she has bought, cheapy rubbish from B&M.

Problem is, there is sooo much polyester in it that it makes my skin crawl, the feel and the sound....eurgh!!!

So, I need suggestion on good places to buy 100% cotton bed linen from that isn't going to cost me and arm and a leg. Tesco got cheapy deals on 100% cotton bed sheets etc but pillow cases and duvet covers are all 50% poly 50% cotton.

Tesco (Extra) don't only sell Tesco branded cheapy stuff, they do also sell branded sheets and bed stuff, just get them! ASDA superstores as well.

I find the bed linen stuff is better in Sainsburys than Tescos. That said I bought my last duvet set from ebay (but I did get the sheet from Sainsburys).

It's funniest because you were asking a computer forum on what bed lining your wife should by! She's failed as a woman ¬_¬

Shotgun!

Sorry :(

Got mine from Asda superstore, I got a 100% cotton king size duvet cover with 2 pillowcases for about £30 I think.

Also M&S do some nice ones but more expensive. Next, ditto.

Could try Matalan too?

Its not just % cotton you need to look at. If its got a higher count it'll also feel much better too. Saying that High thread count cheap cack will not feel as good as lower count better quality.

The wife put new linen on the bed the other day straight out of the packet. It's making my skin crawl so i'll have to wash it tomorrow on my day off to soften it up.

Ooh you have to wash bed linen before you use it!

M&S is good, but can be a bit pricey for the nicer designs. Tesco finest stuff I thought used to be 100% cotton and worked out slightly cheaper.

Possibly TK max or Dunelm mill may have something for a price you would like.
