bed linen

I've skimmed over the thread, but bed linen is worth investing in imo - it'll last you. Get it from somewhere like John Lewis/M&S, look at thread count as well as cotton %. Have a good feel before you buy anything.

As has been said 500+ thread count Egyptian cotton is where it's at. If you want to be sneaky about buying it though try somewhere like T.K. Maxx.
I got a 1000 thread count kingsize duvet cover for £12 last time I was there.

Buy the most expensive Egyptian cotton stuff you can afford, hotel quality stuff. You spend between 6-10 hours a day in bed, may as well make it comfy. I'd never skimp on bed linen.

Amen.

Same for Pillows.

If it doesn't feel like you're sleeping on a cloud, there's something wrong with your bed xD

You get what you pay for, generally you might get reasonably cheap stuff direct from textile companies off amazon and ebay (I buy clothes this way quite often).

It's worth investing in some 500 or even 1000tc stuff though, it's glorious.
