Hi all does any one know any where (in the uk) that ships out large amounts of beef jerky??

i love the stuff but paying £2 for a small packet takes the Peaaaaa

tesco do it for 99p a bag.

It's sun dried meat. Damn expensive though, £4 for 100g :eek:

Thats because it takes 200g of lean steak to make. Just look at the price off decent steak in the supermarket. As I said jery is inherently expensive but sooo sooo nice.

It's dried meat and it is extremely healthy, high protein, low carb, low fat.
Original is awesome, slightly sweet spicy flavour.
peppered I don't like, very iron and rich tasting.

Everyone should try some original stuff.

I like it, but I have to limit myself as I find that it gets trapped between my teeth. I would recommend it to anyone as a nice snack (I like Teriyaki and Peppered).

If you have an oven you can make it yourself reasonably easily.

I've never done it myself but have tried homemade jerky that one of my mates did and it was really good.

trouble is I wouldn't trust supermarket meat, there is a butchers I would trust near my parents though. Might be worth a butchers
