Been asked to join 'Phi Theta Kappa'

So my girlfriend has been opening my mail whilst I am in England and I got a letter from the Chancellor of my college and they have asked me to join Phi Theta Kappa which is an honour society (A really big one at that!)

It states that the average Phi Theta Kappan has a GPA of 3.8

She seemed to think it was quite a big deal but I honestly have no idea :p

No, it only lasts 10 mins, you receive it up the chuffer, then you're in.
 
Bah, I thought this was going to be about drinking 20 beers on your head and being sick on the dean's car.

Congrats though, it sounds like quite a big deal.
