Been out the loop need help :)

OCZ Vertex 2E 120GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive , Never used OCZ before is this a good brand for SSD, Also the ram never used Patriot Viper 6GB good reviews, and the cooler has good reviews also!
 
Using the Patriot in my system after having a nightmare with OCZ gold memory, also using the OCZ 60gb SSD which I am pretty impressed with.

Got the OCZ 120gb to go in :)
 
You should have seen my face when it arrived :p

One of the most easiest of cases I have worked with, pretty impressed, but it is huge :)

Only joking, the Dell 2405, been good for 4 Years of use.

Looking at the Dell 2410.
 
Decisions!! im going to be more carefull this upgrade, last upgrade had to wait for ages for a fix, the DFI and the 3870x2 were not compatible, if you went on a certain type of website that used flash, it would lock up, took dfi like 7 months to release a bios to fix the issue, think it was more bad luck though
 
I remember seeing threads regards the DFi and the 3870, with my system I had fun and games with the OCZ Gold last year before going with Patriot RAM.

With the cooler this will be close the memory but should just fit in, only trouble you would have is if you want to 12gb as the cooler would overlap the first slot.
 
Your cooling setup for your CPU, I personally would get the Megahalems and 2 x 120mm Apache Blacks or Vipers. If you look at the OcUK OC Bundles, a lot of them usethe Megahalems as there heatsink. If your looking to overclock, this is what I would do.
 
Heh, after I posted that, I went and checked I was correct in what I said. I am.

I personally use the Megahalems and 2 Apache Blacks and thats what has allowed me to OC to 3.6Ghz from 2.4Ghz, not bad eh?

Oh yea, dont forget to purchase some thermal paste too, easy to forget. I use MX-4 myself, but MX-3 is good also from what I read.
