Been to Sofia?

(that's in Bulgaria, before anyone gets any silly ideas )

Going there for some meetings in the not-too-distant future, and would like some idea of what to expect. My European travel knowledge extends to France, Germany and Holland, and that's all, so I'm sure there's going to be plenty of new experiences.

Doubt I'll get much time to sightsee but any tips are better than none.

Thanks. I have enough trouble crossing the road as it is.

These meetings are going to be fun - two Bulgarians, an Italian, a Brit (me) and an American. Some combination there. Still, I'm only there for three days and won't have a car so my exploration options are rather limited. I'll bear them in mind though.

Now to go reasing up on currency, tips, that sort of stuff (already done the FCO and health thing).
