Beeping when playing network games

Hi, so my computer beeps when playing network games - a lot! If I play a game by myself it's fine and never beeps.
However as soon as I play a LAN game, it just starts beeping immediately. Worst is Civilisation VI, doing long constant beeps!

The system is:
Gigabyte Z790
i7-12700k
32GB Vulcan Z T-Force
Crucial P310 1TB SSD M.2
ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 12G
Windows 11 Pro 24H2

I've been into the BIOS a few times, but can't see anywhere where I can disable warnings or beeps. CPU is not getting hot, it's 28-40'C max all the time
I downloaded Gigabyte control centre, and turned off all the warnings (at least I think that's what the exclamation marks do, it has b#gger all guidance.)

Cheers
Dave

Have heard of amd gpus doing this
Because of an anti lag /low latency setting
In the amd software
Not heard of nvidia gpu doing it
But could be something similar since its
Only happening with online games

Do you have the nvidia app installed?
Or just got nvidia control panel?
Not sure if they beep if latency is an issue
But not on the pc right now to have a look

Other option
Maybe a setting on your network connector
Don't think you said over wifi or ethernet

Thanks, do you mean GeForce Experience? Yes that is installed and latest drivers made no difference.
It's over ethernet.

Geforce experience has been replaced
By the nvidia app
I would first try uninstall Geforce experience
But don't yet install the nvidia app
As that's adding one more factor until you figure
It out

Another option just in case you have one
Beeping could come from a ups
If don't have one that's an easy option to rule out

Edit
Is it coming through the speakers?
Or from inside the pc?
If inside pc did you connect a little speaker
To the front panel connections?

If you have WiFi
See if over wifi also does it or not

2nd edit
Another possibility is it's from gigabyte software
Either network software
Sort of thing that says it will optimise your Internet connection
For gaming etc
Can't remember what gigabyte calls theres

Thanks for the help, I'll give that a go and double check where exactly the sound is from.

I do have a UPS, but it didn't do this on the old PC so I think it's not that, but I'll double check...

Ha! It's coming from the UPS, not the PC.

I wonder if it's an overload or the PSU is not great in the PC. The PSU is a few years old, it's the one thing I didn't upgrade.

I knew ups could beep lol
I dont know exactly why it's doing it though

But should be a make and model number on it
And hopefully a user manual available
Online to explain the beep codes

Mystery solved! I had both PCs plugged into the same UPS. The beep and orange light on an APC UPS means it's being overloaded. That explains why it only happens on network games, when both PCs are drawing a lot of power. Now PC 2 is plugged into a different socket so everything runs nicely with no neeps. Thanks again for your help, mentioning the UPS solved it for me.

Was an unusual one for a change
Glad we got it solved without
Any major hassle involving swapping components
Or other stuff
Bit of luck I mentioned a ups perhaps
As most people don't have one
But I will just call it skill not luck on my part
