I am about to order a PC but im worried i might have missed something. Could someone please check that I have a complete system.. Excl. Monitor keyboard and mouse.

All looks ok, though the PSU is bit overkill corsair or Enermax 620w approx would do.
And perhaps the Ballistix or the Geil RAM 6400.

It is if he uses XP as XP can only utilise about 3gb's of it. Vista however can handle a lot more. I would get some cheap 2gb sticks unless you are on vista then go for it.

Don't buy the XFX, they have terrible customer support.

Get BFG or EVGA, preferably an 8800GT instead of GTX.

i'd change the XFX for a BFG or EVGA and that powersupply is overkill as said, go for the Corsair instead

Thanks for the replies. Little worred now as I ordered the XFX before ordering the rest of the pc. Is it just the customer service that is an issue or is it an inferior card?

It is just the customer support which is crap with XFX, the cards are generally fine.

thanks. Was getting stupidly worried there. So will xp 32bit still install and run fine with the 4gb on the board or will i have to take some out?

It is overkill in terms of speed not size. 4gb will still run fine with XP it just won't be able to see them all, expect to see 3-3.5Gb instead.

PC6400 kits are fine even if you are going to overclock.

ok cool. Looks like im going to the shops to get vista 64. Unless anyone can tell me of any compatability problems with my setup. Though I dont expect any considering its all new hardware?
