ok, well finally got my temps down to 65, and a new case on the way so should drop some more, im now ready to think about overclocking it.
But.......before i do, im wondering if i need to, so does anyone have any comparisons of performance of a stock i7 920 D0 vs an oc'd one for doing things like rendering an unedited video clip and then a basic editied clip. thats the main reason i would consider overclocking, as im aware it will make very little difference in gaming.
i know it will only be rough comparrisons as other bits of hardware/software will efect it, but if there is noticable increase when overclocked then i will give it a bash.

tried cinebench, but i have no idea what the scores mean, and which bits i want higher (or lower depending onhow their results work). any pointers?
