Blast from the past! I feel old now! I did the pools back in the 80s but never won owt. Then on a Saturday night a bloke came round the working men's club selling The Green Un, was a fantastic paper with all the footy results etc in it. Those were the days

I remember the green un well, used to get it for the local bristol rugby news

When I started my first job they did a bonus ball thing, where everyone put in £1 and got assigned a number, and if the lotterys bonus ball was your number then you collected the pot. I won the pot on my first week and it had also rolled over, it was a small office and I think people were genuinely miffed that I'd won on my first week working there

Concrete floors, you posh bugger, we had ground glass . I do feel guilty now though cos apparently playing out, enjoying yourself, keeping fit and working hard has damaged later generations.
