Before Watchmen

Anyone read these?

Just started to read Watchmen.
And not sure if to give before watchmen a go.

Just wondered what others thought about them.

I would continue reading the originals first. I would imagine that the Character prequels will be much more interesting when you know about the characters introduced in the originals.

Yes, time wise it before but I won't make much sense unless you know the characters and set up. Just don't think it anything like the original, Before Watchmen no way near as good or successful.
