Hello everyone

I am going to buy a new system in about 6 months due to my income so i want to get maximum results from my current system.Specifcations:

pentium 4 640 3.2
xxx 6600gt 256mb
2x1gb pc4300 corsair
QTEC 500 watt
gigabyte i945p-g
2x250gb Sata II

I want to overclock EVERYTHING that is possible with stock cooling
Any recommendations?

If you want to overclock, I wouldn't do it with a QTEC, your prob getting only 250 watts out of that thing, plus it might blow up  CLICK CLICK BOOM QTEC

to overclock the cpu, go into your bios and try raising the fsb, and for the graphics card get coolbits

I wouldn't risk overclocking a PC that has a Qtec PSU!

It is probably only really giving out 350w max rather than the 500w Qtec somehow quote..and it may be bordering already on being on the limit, especially if you have many fans.

But if you will dare, try raising the FSB to 206MHz that'd give you a start and a 100MHz overclock and take it from there.

I wouldn't raise the vcore at all with that PSU.

To overclock you graphics card download Riva Tuner. My 6600 gt can run at 550 gpu and 1170 memory with the stock heatsink/fan.
