I'm a complete beginner when it comes to water-cooling so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question.

I am looking at the following kit (from OC of course):

EK Water Blocks EK-D5 Vario X-RES 100 (incl. pump)
EK Water Blocks EK-Coolstream RAD XTC 280
EK Water Blocks EK-Supremacy - Nickel

I'm assuming that these are all compatible as they're from the same company, but I'm really confused as to what connectors I need.

Could someone please link to what I need? Also, does the connector you use then dictate the thickness of the tubing that you can then use?

Thanks, Al.

They don't need to be from the same brand to be compatible.
For example, I run a Koolance cpu block,, EK gpu block, EK pump top (D5 pump), Alphacool rads and a Phobya reservoir.

As long as they have G1/4 threads, that's all the compatibility you need.

Yes, the fitting dictates the the size of the tubing. So if you want 7/16 5/8 (16/11mm) tubing for example, you'll want the same size compression/barb fittings.
