Being a bit of a noob on this one - De-sync a 360 controller?

You know the feeling you get when you are sure something is likely to be as simple as anything, yet can't work out how to do it? Yeah, feeling like that right now.

Basically my brother has synced his pad to two of the Xbox 360s in the house. It needs to only be synced to one of them. How???

Look at the LED lights surrounding the controller's guide button. If it settles down on one of the four corners, indicating that it is already synched with an Xbox360 somewhere, you'll have to hold down the unsync button at the top of the controller - a chiselled little button to the left of the cable port.

I thought all 360 controllers were re-synced when you turn them on? As in it syncs to the first 360 it sees?

Personally the way I do it to stop me turning on other 360's in the house is to use the plug and play kit to re-sync.

Its will turn on the last one it's sync'd to.

Other way to desync it is plug it with the charger into the pc, it then does away with the 360 sync and has be resynced.

Huh, I plug my controller into the charger on the PC every day and never have to resync it.

ditto i don't have any problems with charging from PC then having to resync it again to 360 after charge, also i have two 360's and often the wireless one gets used on both so if its synced to the one upstaire i just make sure that 360 is switched off at wall and just resync it to the one downstairs.

Think its maybe because i have a wireless remote dongle for my pc, when i plug it in, it syncs to it, despite not syncing it myself.
