Being appreciated at work

I know I'm appreciated by my line manager as he asks me to do a hell of a lot for him, and I was the only person in our department put forward for a (successful) payrise when the last round of appraisals took place.

I got a nice bottle of Champagne after our active directory role out a few months back. I'd only been here 8 months and got it done when it had been put off for years (Wouldn't say no to a fat bonus!) I'm happy with just an email to say thanks when I fix something as in my previous job the only time the boss ever said I'd done a good job was when I handed in my notice!

With Powerfuse running on the client machines, on Neoware thin clients.

Seems to do the job very well, i think the users just like how they look :)

We're Win 2k3, Citrix PS3 (Don't ask why!!) and HP thin terminals and screens. Looks nice for the users.

I still get this feeling of disbelief as I walk out into the office and see all of the screens knowing that they are all just using 9 servers at present!!!

18 CPUs for 360 people!
