Belgian Grand Prix 2012, Spa-Francorchamps - Race 12/20

My question is, with the new mclaren upgrades, are they that far ahead or did button just drive the socks of it all weekend?

Just one of those 3 or so weekends JB will have in a season. JB won't win the title this year or even get that near. The 25 points will cause Hamilton huge issues now because it was looking like JB was going to have to concede to Lewis as a title contender. Now it's looking much closer.

Vettels sneaking back and Alonso has nothing like the quickest car. This is heading one way...

Hamilton's going to have to win the majority of the rest of the races with Alonso and Vettel picking up much fewer points if he's going to win the WDC.

Well, that was quite exciting.

Grosejean being a bit of a dunce at the start. Gotta feel sort for Alonso and Hamilton and especially both Saubers. I didn't see anything about it being investigated? Charlie decided it was a racing incident?

Lol Pastor. Massive jump start, then spun on his own in turn 1, and then lost his front wing. Altho I didn't see a replay of how he lost it? Any ideas?

Not sure what needs investigation for the Schumacher pit entrance incident, or the Webber pit release either.

I was hoping for a more mixed up result after the restart put people all over the place, but the guys who jumped up dropped back, and those further back drove forward. Decent drive from Vettel to get up to 2nd.

How have RBR not learnt the right gear ratios for Spa yet? Every year they just bounce of the limiter. I wonder where Vettel could have got to if he had been able to pass people at the first attempt.

Nice to see the wheel tethers on the HRT working well

Lewis sounds.... Not pleased.

I watched this one on BBC and must say that the race coverage is far far better on Sky. The BBC team just seem far too nice. There's no passion and no strong opinions. They just seem to want to describe what's going on without blaming anyone, and Gary's voice could send me to sleep. The interviews were appauling too. No word from Alonso or Hamilton thought the whole race, and we only heard from Grosjean half way through. I'll be glad to be back to Sky next week for MB Crofty and Ted.

I can't imagine Alonso is too worried, he's still 24 points ahead.

i reckon it will be alonso or hamilton (or could be if button wanted to help lewis)

I don't see how Alonso can win the title in a car that has only managed to qualify 3rd as the highest place in the dry all season. The Mclaren has improved it's dry pace. Unless the others throw points away while leading Alonso has little chance. The DNF will mean they swallow him up fast now.

Vettel was fast in the dry today, where Alonso has won dry races by controlling the pace from the front. Can one of the Mclarens break free to cause them to get backing from the team mate, doubtful.

i cant watch the bbc that new commentator ben edwards ? is just as bad as legard imo.

to much shouting and drowning out coulthard
