Belgium Grand Prix 2011, Spa Circuit - Race 12/19

Has there been anything interesting on the team radio the last few goes, just the sounds not good enough in here to be able to hear it properly.

Kobayashi tagged Hamiltons rear wheel.

Hardly moved left is now taking the racing line is it? There was no racing line. Hamilton covered the inside of the corner to stop Kobayshi stuffing one up the inside, then "hardly moved left" to get a better entry to the corner. The only problem was that Kobayashi was along side and Hamilton left less than a car width.

How was he level then if he hit hamiltons rear wheel? like you said (try not to contradict yourself).

Whats your 25 years of watching got to do with it? as you clearly havnt been watching F1 (specsavers) if you go against the view of other F1 drivers views and video. But hey your welcome to your opinion.

I never mentioned that they were level. I said Kobayshi was overlapping.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/overlapping said:
v. o·ver·lapped, o·ver·lap·ping, o·ver·laps
v.tr.
1. To lie or extend over and cover part of.
2. To have an area or range in common with.

What did Brundle and Coulthand make of it?

Croft and Davidson called it as a racing incident almost straight away. Looked to me like Koba was simply in Lewis' blind spot, and the latter didn't realise that this would clearly mean they'd tag if he moved over.

What confused me with Lewis was that every other overtake at that part of the track the attacking car pulled out a massive lead before the corner but when Lewis overtook Kobayshi, Kobayshi was able to keep with him right to the corner.

Is McLaren's DRS not as good as other teams?

Hence the comment from Lewis in the interview about having a slow top speed.

No you said Parallel. Parallel assumes they were LEVEL not overlapping.

He said he was parallel TO THE EDGE OF THE TRACK

At least learn to read properly if you're going to try and take petty little pops at peoples wording.

Not that parallel would necessarily dictate they were level with each other anyway, so any which way you try and paint that particular point you're not going to get anywhere
