hi guys,

always fancied getting myself a widescreen monitor and i saw an ad on this site for a new belinea model which is available to preorder..

Belinea 2225S1W 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Black/Silver (MO-006-BE)

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/20_Inch_LCD_Monitors.html#amo_2d006_2dbe

It seems to be really good value .. anyone know much about belinea monitors and would they recommend this model?

I have an LG 19" at the moment with 12ms so im sure anything would be an improvement!

Cheers in advance
Jonny

I have the 20" Widescreen model and its been brilliant, so i've no doubt that the 22" will be good as well (although it does use a different panel). In fact for the price im considering one as a second monitor.

Yeah, it uses a different panel so it will not be the same quality.

For a budget of £300 the Dell looks like the best option. The stand has height adjust and pivot, and it has PIP and the s-video and composite inputs.

CrazyMonkey is sig is to big

A signature may contain one or more images but they must fit within a box with maximum dimensions of 400 x 75 pixels (width x height) and with a maximum (combined) file size of 20k

what about the 22" viewsonic monitor available here on overclockers?
Are viewsonic pretty good?

I tihnk for the same price as the 20" Dell i might rather have an extra 2"

I wont be doing too much gaming.. just some flightsim which isnt too gfx intense anyways.

Will be more handy for video editing timeline stuff, photo editing, web design etc etc

Id say definitely £350 max

TIA

Well for this you should stay away from TN panels, an S-IPS panel like one the 2007fpw uses would be the best. You must stay in Desktop Mode with the Dell though, because in other modes it has banding whe using a DVI cable.
