Which is better this monitor or the Acer AL1916WS 19"?

Seems the Belinea boasts some nicer features - a 5ms screen with a contrast ratio of 850:1 where as the Acer is an 8ms screen with 500:1 contrast ratio.

I've seen some real photos of the Acer but none of the Belinea... Would love to see some actual photos of this model to be honest to help make up my decision.

Im realy not sure the Belinea or the Acer, and even when I do make my mind up, should I buy 1 and run it with my Viewsonic VA2012W 20" or buy 2 and sell my Viewsonic :o?

Pictures will be ace though please :)

Are you sure about that? A Viewsonic 2012W has a better resolution of 1680x1050... :)

Could get another Viewsonic instead? That'll make dual 20"... as they're going pretty cheap as well. :)

Yes! That'll help greatly! Tell us how you get on with them too in regards to gaming and watching movies.

True, but i am not sure i can fit them on my desk :P Plus can i realy justify another £250, and i need to send this one in, as it has a nice pale line on atm that runs horizontaly from the left for about 3cm

Well you do gain having 2x 19" widescreens... more workable area as opposed to a single 20". :) But the size of a 20" monitor isn't that much larger than a 19". So the amount of deskspace occupied between the dual 20"/dual 19" will be minimal. Guess it depends on how much you value the cut in resolution i.e. from 1680x1050 -> 1440x900.

2) Buy 2 19" and sell the 20"
3) Buy 2 19" and use the 20" as a tv in the living room, well a media center pc
4) Buy another 20" and run it dual...

but whats better 1 20" or 2 19" for the same price

I would do option 4 jcb33. :) If you really don't want to take that option then do option 1 to be honest. Saves unecessary spending.... but I've not checked the maths. :p
