I've just replaced my APC UPS with a Belkin one (had lots of bad experiences of the APC ones breaking down and they're rather expensive) but have no idea how to configure it to run with Linux.

There was plenty of documentation for APC Powerchute but did a quick google and couldn't find anything on Belkin's Bulldog software (their website was terrible - the link to the data sheet didn't even work).

Has anyone had any experience, know somewhere that could help?

Thanks

Problem is that there was no CD or documentation of any kind with the UPS and, as stated, the Belkin website's link to the documentation is broken.

Ive got the belkin 1200va ups and its superb, its never once let me down, and I almost fully trust it in a thunderstorm, but I have the ups plugged into a surge protector cos of this. So if the surge protector dont kill all of the surge, the ups should finish the job off. But saying this the ups is capable of dealing with a 65000,000watt surge. But its best to be double safe, just incase.

But I have it running in vista not linux, sorry.
