benchmark for 6800

There's a chance you've got a lot of AA+AF on in the driver settings for your card. Change it to off, or application controlled.
 
Right click on your desktop select properties

Select the furtherst right tab, click advanced. There should be a bar on the left with different sections. have a look around.
 
Just make sure it's not getting too hot as it could be throttling down it's speeds.
