Hi guys/gals,

So I have my new and shinny VTX3D 7970 X-Edition at 1150 and 1650 and running the heaven benchmarks, scores around 1800, I increase the memory to 1700 and it scores around 1350. I have the power slider on MSI burner to +20%.

Whats the deal? heating and throttling?

Sounds like memory error correction is kicking in. Leave the memory at 1650 or bump the memory voltage two notches and run the bench again.

The temperature is low so I am tempted to add volts memory. Where is the temperature measured though, must be the core, so hmmm. How do I change the volts on the card?
