Benchmarks software only for CPU

Its very hard to test just the CPU on its own, the same CPU in 2 different motherboards would give you different results in benchmarks. there are a lot of benchies that dosnt test the GPU just "system" speed but this would also be testing the motherboard and RAM.
Super PI, tests single threaded performance,
Wprime can be set for as many cores as you want.
Fritz chess bench mark.
There the ones i have installed at the moment but there are loads, im sure someone can give you a better list.
