The hilarious thing reported by the new agencies when they speak of Universal Credit proposals, in regard large numbers of people being worse off after the new system is applied, well GOOD, thats the point, we are meant to be saving money as the country doesn't have any! Of course people are going to be worse off, they shouldn't be better off, they shouldn't be getting any more of my money.
This raises an interesting side issue. Has anyone else noticed that the media run a story one day condemning the people on benefits and how they cheat the system but then the next day complain that changes to benefits means that the very same people can't afford to live?
This really annoys me. They shouldn't be allowed to have it both ways.
