Hi guys!

I have a benQ 120hz monitor now. I play CSS and i paly it on 1024x768 resolution. I would like to have the 120hz on this resolution but 100hz is the highest. I don't get it becouse the monitor manual says that 120hz should be available on this res. if i try to change it on catalyst it change it but in monitor info it says it is 1280x1024 res not the one i want and i can see the difference also.Maybe my Ati hd 870 don't support 120hz on 1024dunno.. Pls help me if you can it would be great to play on this res:) TY!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

1) You probably need to use a dual link DVI cable. One was likely supplied with the monitor. If you're using an old cable it may not be dual link.

2) If you're using a HD 6870 then only one of the DVI connectors is dual link so make sure you're using the right one.

3) 1024x768 is an odd resolution to use if the native resolution of the monitor is 1920x1080.
