That pretty much says it all. I got an on-site swap because my previous one had issues with the hdmi port and the menu was slow.
Apparently the slow menu and semi-broken hdmi port comes as standard as my replacement is exactly the same.
Oh, except this new one has a dead pixel and a broken stand.

Cheers BenQ

Get back on the blower and get it sorted mate, just say, if the next one is no better you'll be wanting a full refund as the product is not fit for purpose and your not willing to be messed around.

You pay a lot of money for these things and it's annoying when they don't work. Back in the days of CRT, I had to go through x4 replacment Iiyama screens before I was satisifed (some had suffs, etc, etc). The service was top notch though. ;)

As Firegod says, get it sorted on the phone - they cannot replace your screen with a part that is inferior in quality.

I had both my FP241W's replaced 2 weeks ago due to screen blanking and they replaced them both with faultless screens (and left a spare stand!).

Yeah, it's so frustrating. I hope they keep my record so I don't have to give them proof of pruchase all over again. Effort.

brakinup - how is your HDMI and OS? because i've had 2 with the exact same problems now. The hdmi is choppy and poor quality (could this be my cable?) and the menu is really slow to refresh. also there's no auto switching with inputs...

To be honest I only use them over DVI as CS3 imaging/colour work for wedding photography (plus gaming and internet of course). The only HDMI hardware I have is a V+ box which is downstairs.
