So I smacked my n/s/r wheel into the kerb last night while travelling totally sideways. Noob thing to do but what can I say.
Anyway the angle of the wheel definitely aint quite right, and the wheel bearing is now rumbling away like a good'un (there's no play in it though). None of the arms look bent at all. Is it a likely or common thing to bend the stub axle doing something like that?

My other half's corrado had a bent stub axle when we bought it,. Changed it, and got it on a hunter machine to check alignment, but turns out the rear beam was bent, despite no visual evidence of it.

If you can't see any other damage, tell tale is paint cracking worth changing the stub axle and getting it up on a hunter to check.

hmm, well it'll be a complete trailing arm replacement if the axle is bent as it's all one piece. I'll have it looked at tomorrow, I suspect it might be just that.
