Bentley Brooklands

That shape in many guises has been out for so long Bentley don't seem to evolve, would have the Rolls over this any day, in black :)
The Phantom is radically different to its forebears, isn't it..?

Im not sure i like that.....they should design a coupe as a new car not just make a frankencar out of all the cars in the lineup. Roofline of a CGT,rear end of a arnage and side grills from a crysler. :o

I prefer Rollers. The phantom is cool but the droptop one looks a bit strange with the doors it has. :(

It's pretty awful looking.
The front is decent but the side profile is horrible. Needs the curves to be straight.
Also I don't think pillarless suits that shape.
If you cover up the front it looks like some sort of generic americanised saloon.
Then again, if they are thinking like jaguar, that'd be the point :/

Quite clearly this is a mid-life crisis situation! And you need honeyz when you drive a Bentley, and if you're struggling to find some then I'll be one ... but I do insist you buy me a pizza! Cars alone do not impress me :D

Agreed it's a car to be driven in. I've had the pleasure of a ride in the back of a Flying Spur and its absolutely awesome, like a moving palace. All you need now is a driver :p

A Bentley should coincide only with retirement.

Otherwise they're just wrong. Too laid back, too "I have lots of time on my hands".

In a nutshell - it'll make you look old.

Nonsense!

It makes you look old in some peoples eyes, makes you look flash in some peoples eyes, makes you look pompus in some peoples eyes, makes you look like someone with serious taste in some poeples eyes....so on and so forth ad infinitum!

In short, who cares what other people think?

Looking at the pics on the site it looks utterly stunning and just looks proper cathedral on wheels stylee!

If I had the means, Id own one.

Perry.

The children?

I'd have thought in kids playground "my dads got..." talk, the e60 M5 would be king of the hill.

The bentley is nice, but, not for me. (Even if I had the money! :o )

I'd rather be driven round in a Phantom.
I'd rather drive than be driven. The Phantom was nice at the Burj-Al-Arab though. Tricky choice :D
