Get yourself to a restaraunt for a jagerschnitzel mit pommes and a nice german beverage. Then take a stroll round the Tiergarten and go visit the Brandenburg gateThere is none of the wall left, except one small little piece.

Most of the wall is gone, there are traces here and there and one site left for tourists.
As for concentration camp tours. Whilst posted in Germany I visited the camp at Belsen.....

Going to Berlin on wed for a few days,got a conference on friday,so will have a free day on thursday,anything i should look out for that stands out for anyone who has been![]()
...but my conference is on Thursday and my free day is Friday! lolIm just back from Berlin a few weeks ago. If you like a steak, the marriot has a hotel attached in Potz Platz, best steak ive ever eaten although it was a bit pricey. The open air museum near checkpoint charlie was good although like a bit of an idiot I walked it the wrong way, start from left to right (duh, right?).
The dome is well worth going up, the views are amazing. Food was brilliant, best ive had in europe along with the beer!
